The ANZ Hot Shots program is a National Tennis Australia accredited program. It utilises modified courts and tennis balls to teach children aged between 3 to 11 years tennis in a fun and easy way.
The program separates children into similar age ranges as well as ability, with each stage of the program focusing on different skills that enable your child to learn how to play a full game of tennis.
The foundation 'Launch' stage. The lesson is jam packed with new skills and easy to learn techniques with a big emphasis on FUN.
Recommended for children aged 5 to 8. This stage looks at rallying and match play. Classes have a maximum of 6 children to enable the coach to teach the group.
Using a modified smaller court, this stage is suitable for children who have completed the red stage or who have played tennis before.
The most advanced stage in the program. This stage has a big emphasis on skills improvement and competitive match play. The full court is used for this stage.
The foundation ‘Launch’ stage. Focusing on developing motor neurone skills, this lesson is jam packed with new skills and easy to learn techniques with a big emphasis on fun.
Our Launch ball classes run for 30 minutes in duration with a ratio of 4:1.
Recommended for children aged between 5 years and 8 years. This stage looks at rallying and introduction into match play.

Our Red ball classes run for 60 minutes in duration with a ratio of 6:1
Using a modified smaller court, this stage is suitable for children who have completed the red ball stage or who have previously played tennis
Orange ball classes run for 60 minutes in duration with a ratio of 6:1
At this stage, the full tennis court is utilised. A big emphasis is placed on skills improvement as well as competitive matchplay.
Green ball classes run for 90 minutes in duration with a ratio of 6:1
Players who have progressed from the Hot Shots Green class or are new to tennis will find the Yellow Ball program the perfect opportunity to keep learning the sport and/or keep playing in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
Yellow Ball classes run for 90 minutes in duration with a ratio of 6:1
